How To Fix Window Was Unable To Compete The Format - Hard Drive

Follow these steps below to format the hard drive if window was unable to format 

1. Connect your Hard drive to the computer. Type "CMD" in the start search bar box, Click on Command prompt and run as administrator or press and hold down window key + x, select Command prompt (Admin) and click on it

2. The Command prompt will open. In command prompt type the following words

Type diskpart and press enter
Type list disk and press enter. This will list all of your connected disk 
Type select disk and press enter. Replace # with the number associated with your pendrive
For example..Select disk 3 and press enter
Type clean and press enter
Type create partition primary and press enter
Type select partition 1
Type active and press enter
Type format fs=ntfs label=WC-Drive quick and press enter
Type assign letter=W
Type exit
