How To Root Vodafone VFD 301 | 100% Tested

REQUIREMENTS

Vodafone stock firmware
TRWP recovery 
Root manager app (Use Supersu)
SP flash tool
MTK USB driver
CDC driver 

Here is a simple way to root Vodafone VFD 301. Here are step by step on how to root Vodafone 301 

1. Download MTK USB driver & CDC driver and install on your computer

2. Extract your Vodafone stock firmware and open it. Then replace recovery.img with TWRP recovery 


3. Launch splash  flash tool, Click on choose button (Scatter loading file), Navigate to the location of the Scatter file, highlight it then click Open. Mark recovery only as seen in the picture below



4. Click on download button. Turn off your mobile phone, remove, reinsert the battery and then connect your phone to the computer via USB cable



You will see info and the flash process starts automatically.. 


Once completed,  you will be able to see a green box with download OK
Disconnect your phone from the computer. Remove, reinsert the battery and power on your device.



5. Copy Root manager app (Supersu) to the SD card. Turn off your phone and then press and hold down power button + volume up together to enter into recovery mode

Once TRW has opened, tap on install and then find Root manager app (Supersu) on the SD Card. Tap on it, swipe to confirm flash

6. You are done. Download Root checker and install on your phone to see if your phone is rooted


Important Notice

During the flashing process. the phone may reboot once or twice. Do not interrupt the flashing process as it could result in a dead phone
