How to use Maui META to repair or write IMEI on any Mediatek phone

Maui Meta
BPLGU Info DB file (MDDB on some phones)
MediaTek USB VCOM Drivers or Miracle driver installation

Important Notice

Install Mediatek USB VCOM Drivers depending on your operating system bit installed on your computer

Follow these steps to repair IMEI, Barcode or Serial Number on Mediatek phone using Maui META Tool. How to change or repair IMEI on Android phone using Maui META. Follow these steps below

1. Download Maui META and install on your computer. Launch Maui Meta tool as administrator

2. Click on Reconnect button. The color of the circle should start changing between red and green

3. Power off your phone, remove and insert the battery. Press and hold volume down button or Connect your phone to the computer via USB Cable without holding any button with battery inside. You should see the color of the circle has changed to yellow, indicating that the phone has been successfully connected

4. Select IMEI download in the Maui META box. The IMEI Download Box should pop up. Click on change NVRAM Database File

5. The new window should pop up. Navigate to the location of the BPLGUInfo file (MDDB on some phones), select it and then click Open

6. Click on SIM_1, Write your IMEI the Click on Download to flash button to repair your IMEI
Click on SIM_2, Write your IMEI the click on Download to flash button to repair your IMEI

Once the IMEI has been successfully repaired, you should see a message saying Download IMEI to flash successfully
