How to Flash / Upgrade Nokia Symbian phone using Nokia Best BB5 tool

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Your Phone must be at last 50% charged
During the flashing process, the phone may reboot once or twice. Do not interrupt the flashing process as it could result in a dead phone
Search for the latest firmware
Only flash firmware for your phone model and product code.
If you want to remove password, flash PPM only

Download Infinit Best Box v2.23
Download Nokia PC Suite
Download Phoenix Service Software
USB cable

How to Flash or Upgrade Nokia Phones (Java & Symbian) Using Infinity Nokia Best BB5 Tool. Follow these steps to flash Nokia BB5 Nokia 500, N8, E7, C6, C7,X7, E52, E65, N95 & Nokia Oro Phone using Nokia BEST (BB5 Easy Tool) 

1. Install Nokia PC Suite on your computer (It would install necessary drivers)

2. Create a new folder on Products Folder ( Local disk C-Program files-Nokia -Phoenix-products and rename it to the model of the phone you want to flash. This makes the Infinity box detect your phone firmware automatically.
Example. My Nokia 500 with model RM-750 (the folder would be named RM-750)


3. Copy the firmware files you downloaded into the RM-750 folder.


4. Launch Infinity best exe and click on the flashing tab


5. At the top left hand corner, click on connect and select USB


6. Now, click on settings - Data package path - change active dir (local disk C - program files -Nokia-Phoenix-Products)


7. Navigate to and select products (this is the location of the folder that has the firmware)


8. Tick the following
       -Tick check box beside DeadMode
       -Tick the checkbox beside Set Normal
       -Tick the checkbox beside Factory Set

9. Click the Dropdown box beneth Select Model-scroll to the model of your phone and click on it (My model is RM-750)


10. Tick the checkbox beside Use INI the files for flashing should automatically load


11. Click on Flash button
